Travel Vaccinationsglobal air travel

Before travelling, we advise you to take some time to make preparations with regard to your health while you are abroad.

A good place to start is the Travel Health Pro website http://travelhealthpro.org.uk/general-advice-for-travellers/ which contains helpful information on what to do before, during and after your trip.

If you require travel vaccinations, please try to make an appointment with a practice nurse at least six weeks prior to travelling. For malaria tablets, please try to book an appointment with a doctor.

Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.

Alternatively, you can visit a local travel health clinic (please see below).
